The Project

3236 Sweet Leaf is one of New Edge Renovation's most personality-driven builds — a full basement transformation designed around the homeowner's passions: baseball, sports, and entertaining. The result is a space that feels like a private members' club, a sports bar, and a personal museum rolled into one incredibly well-executed basement.

The Sports Bar

The bar is anchored by a white-painted brick accent pillar that rises through the space, flanked by LED-lit floating walnut shelves stocked with a full spirits collection. The dark slate tile backsplash runs the length of the bar wall behind taupe walnut cabinetry with brushed gold pulls and an integrated beverage refrigerator. A wall-mounted TV sits in a custom walnut niche, and floor-to-ceiling framed baseball player photos — action shots from legends of the game — line the adjacent wall, creating the feel of a true sports lounge.

The Baseball Card Collection Room

Tucked adjacent to the main bar is the crown jewel of this project: a dedicated baseball card and memorabilia room unlike anything else in Atlanta. Floor-to-ceiling custom walnut shelving wraps all four walls with continuous LED strip lighting behind each shelf, illuminating thousands of professionally graded baseball cards displayed in protective cases alongside signed baseballs and collectibles. Dark charcoal walls and velvet lounge chairs create an intimate, gallery-like atmosphere. This room alone tells you everything about what New Edge Renovation can build when given a vision.
