The Project
475 Montevallo represents one of New Edge Renovation's most ambitious basement kitchen builds. Rather than a simple wet bar, the homeowners wanted a fully equipped culinary and entertaining space — one capable of hosting events, large gatherings, and anything that calls for restaurant-quality cooking. The result is one of the most impressive basement kitchens in Atlanta.
The Arched Kitchen Niche
The visual anchor of the entire space is a sculptural arched niche housing the range — finished with a full slab of fantasy brown quartzite as a backsplash and wrapped in a continuous LED light strip that traces the arch's perimeter. The effect is dramatic and gallery-like, treating the quartzite as a piece of art. A professional 6-burner commercial range sits centered within the niche, framed by walnut cabinetry with brushed gold pulls on both sides.
Full Kitchen Fit-Out
Beyond the signature niche, the kitchen is fully equipped with dual stainless steel beverage refrigerators flanking the work area, additional walnut cabinetry with ample storage, leathered granite countertops, and polished concrete floors that run throughout the space. The bar section to the right includes open floating shelves for glassware and spirits, maintaining the kitchen's connection to the wider entertainment space.
