4905 Northway
Full-slab quartzite bar, venetian plaster walls and ceiling, crystal chandeliers, open home theater, and a glass-encased golf simulator — one of New Edge Renovation's most stunning large-format builds
The Project
4905 Northway is a grand-scale luxury basement built for a homeowner who wanted nothing left ordinary. Every surface — from the walls and ceiling to the bar and floors — was custom-finished to a hotel standard. The result is an immersive, multi-zone basement that flows from home theater to dining to bar to golf simulator, all united by a single design vision: quiet luxury with serious impact.
The Bar
The centerpiece of 4905 Northway is the bar: a sweeping quartzite-top island with a dramatic arched quartzite niche above the back bar, framed in lit shelving displaying a full spirits collection. The bar front is clad in fluted natural wood, and cognac leather bar stools with slender brass legs line the full length. Venetian plaster in a teal-grey finish covers every wall and the ceiling — a continuous, hand-applied texture that gives the whole space its unmistakable depth and richness. Crystal chandeliers hang throughout, catching the light at every angle.

Home Theater & Dining
Flowing out from the bar is an open plan that gives the space a resort feel. An oversized projection screen anchors the theater zone, framed by a cream sectional and surrounded by the same venetian plaster walls and crystal pendant lights. Between the bar and theater, a matte black oval dining table surrounded by silver velvet chairs creates a dedicated dining moment — the kind of basement table you'd expect at a private club, not a house.
